Golf Simulator Rental FAQ — Long Island: Every Question Answered

The Short Answer

Every question about renting a mobile golf simulator on Long Island — pricing ($650–$1,050), space needed (12×14 ft, 10 ft clearance), deposit ($25), booking timeline, what's included, and how it works on event day.

Here's every question we've been asked about renting a mobile golf simulator on Long Island — answered directly so you can decide quickly whether this is right for your event.

What exactly is a mobile golf simulator rental?

A mobile golf simulator is a self-contained setup that we deliver to your location — typically a backyard, driveway, garage, or venue space. It includes a full inflatable enclosure, HD projection screen, hitting mat, and the Garmin R10 launch monitor that tracks real shot data. You hit real shots and they appear on the screen as tracked shots on world-famous golf courses.

We bring everything. You need one power outlet and a clear space. Full breakdown of how it works here.

How much does it cost?

Three packages:

No hidden fees. Delivery and setup always included. Full pricing breakdown here.

How much is the deposit?

$25. That locks in your date. Balance is due on the day of your event. No large upfront payment required.

Where do you deliver on Long Island?

Anywhere in Nassau and Suffolk County. Massapequa, Huntington, Garden City, Smithtown, Babylon, Syosset, Commack, Rockville Centre, Bellmore, Bethpage, Great Neck, Port Washington, Northport, Bay Shore, Freeport, Merrick, and all surrounding towns. If you're on Long Island, we deliver.

How much space do I need?

Approximately 12 feet wide × 14 feet deep with 10 feet of overhead clearance. A standard backyard, driveway, two-car garage, or open patio usually works. If you're not sure, send us a photo or video and we'll confirm within minutes.

Do guests need to know how to golf?

No. Zero experience required. The system works for complete beginners — you swing, the monitor tracks the shot, and it shows you where the ball would land on the course. Most non-golfers figure it out in two swings and then spend the next 20 minutes trying to outdo their last shot.

What's the difference between self-guided and having a Golf Host?

With the Starter Package, we set everything up and give you a 5-minute walkthrough. You run the simulator yourself — switch courses, set up games, reset between players. It's simple, but you're managing it.

With the Full-Service or Signature Package, an on-site Golf Host is there the entire event. They pick courses, run Longest Drive and Closest-to-Pin contests, manage the leaderboard, and handle any tech questions. You just enjoy the party.

How many people can use it at one time?

One person hits at a time, but groups of 3–4 rotate through together efficiently. The live leaderboard on the screen keeps everyone else engaged while they wait. The sweet spot for events is 10–30 guests; larger groups work well with the leaderboard format.

Can you set it up indoors?

Yes — garages, warehouses, event spaces, and large rooms all work. You need the 12×14 ft footprint and 10 ft overhead clearance from the hitting position. For indoor corporate events and holiday parties, this is a common setup. Send us a photo of your space if you're not sure.

How long does setup take?

We arrive 45–60 minutes before your event start time. Setup takes about 30–40 minutes. By the time guests arrive, everything is running and calibrated.

What happens at the end of the rental?

We return at the end of your rental window and handle complete breakdown and pickup. You don't touch any equipment. We leave your space exactly as we found it. Balance payment is collected at this time.

Do I need to provide clubs?

Most guests bring their own. Let us know in advance if your group doesn't have clubs and we'll work something out.

Can you run golf contests at my event?

Yes — and this is one of the most popular uses. Longest Drive contests (track every guest's best drive and announce a winner at the end), Closest-to-the-Pin, skins games, or just individual leaderboard play. The Golf Host (Full-Service and Signature packages) sets up and runs all of this for you.

How far in advance should I book?

Summer weekends book 6–8 weeks out. Graduation season (May–June) is the most competitive window — book as early as March or April for those dates. Fall events and weeknight bookings usually have more flexibility. $25 deposit holds any date.
